Since yesterday was Earth Day and I wrote about organic wedding cakes, I decided to continue with green weddings for another day and let you know about some online resources for eco-friendly wedding invitations. I'm sure there are many more out there, so if you know of any others or you own an eco-wedding invitation business, please let me know by leaving a comment.top left InviteSite.com carries Eco Wedding Invitations that use treefree and post consumer recycled papers. Their invitations are sold as DIY kits and you can either print them yourself at home or have Invite Site print them for you inhouse using vegetable based inks.

I ordered really cool invitations from the Naturally Ever line at www.weddinginvitation4u.com and got a great deal (their environmentally friendly and cheaper than invitations printed on regular paper). I picked these really cute mocha colored invites because the colors of my wedding are brown and blue, but there were a ton of other cute invitations on recycled paper at: http://www.weddinginvitation4u.cceasy.com/ProductSearch.cfm?prev=1&TempPrev=0&blnPreviewRequestSubmitted=0&recordsperpage=8&CompletedOrder=0&sBasketID=0&strSearchDesc=naturally%20ever%20after&blnAccessoryCategoryPage=0&strItemGroup=&alogo=1&menu=none&morethanonepage=YES&HostDomain=0&FirstTimeThrough=1&option=ProductSearch.cfm&format=WedEns5CCa&CFID=58465873&CFTOKEN=51604449
Your blog was so helpful as I planned my wedding. During my planning process I created these virtual invitations: www.designempowered.com/invitations.php
I am a firm believer that brides should have great designs while these are trying to save the environment.
hi~ your blog's really helpful with wedding planning! i created this etsy shop called "save the date, save the trees". i'm promoting emailing save-the-dates, rather than using more paper and stamps. if you like my idea, come visit me at savethedate.etsy.com :)
