Party Planning Magazine (from New Zealand) recently published an article titled Tips for a Party Tent Wedding and I wanted to share the article with you. (my own wedding was held under a tent on the grounds of a B&B). PS - for those just tuning in, I celebrated my 6 year wedding anniversary this past Sunday. On Monday I decided to do my wedding all over, digitally of course :) and showcased a sunflower wedding inspiration board. Anybody else having their wedding under a tent?

For tent weddings, keep in mind that if you have to rent a floor (key if you're at an unlevel surface, expect rain, or have guests with mobility impairments that won't do well on unlevel grass or dirt-e.g. elderly, ppl using canes/walkers, etc.), a floor can run you more than the cost of the tent. Also, if you're renting a tent, you probably have to rent tables and chairs, too, which run up to 10$ a chair and 30$ table including linens. That money you save on catering and alcohol starts to go pretty quickly. . . If you do a tent wedding, try finding a caterer with tents, dishes, and glassware to minimize what you have to rent. googlybride.blogspot.com
